The Cateye AMPP 400S Front Bike Light combines up to 400 lumens of focused illumination with OptiCube lens technology and strong side visibility. Its compact black housing, USB-C charging and simple controls make it a practical choice for everyday cycling and commuting.

Five modes for everyday riding

Choose High, Middle, Low, Daytime HyperConstant or Flashing. Double-click the power button for instant High mode when you need maximum output. Mode memory recalls your selected setting, while the large power button makes operation straightforward.

• High: 400 lumens; approximately 2 hours.
• Middle: 200 lumens; approximately 4 hours.
• Low: 100 lumens; approximately 8 hours.
• Daytime HyperConstant: 400/100 lumens; approximately 6 hours.
• Flashing: 100 lumens; approximately 60 hours.

Maximum runtime is achieved in Flashing mode. Runtimes are approximate and vary with operating conditions.

USB-C rechargeable convenience

A 3.6 V, 2200 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery powers the light. Charging from empty takes approximately four hours using a 1 A supply. The low-battery indicator is built into the power switch, helping you see when a recharge is due. The light features a user-replaceable battery design.

Quick fitting with FlexTight

The supplied FlexTight bracket allows tool-free fitting to handlebars measuring 22–35 mm in diameter. OptiCube lens technology provides focused forward illumination, while side visibility adds visibility from other angles.
