Built for riders who want real protection without sacrificing bike agility, the Air-Liner Protect Trail sits between raw weight-saving and heavyweight downhill armour — Vittoria's most versatile liner for tackling everything from rocky fire roads to technical, rooty descents.

Fitted inside a tubeless 29" MTB tyre (2.1"–2.6" wide), the insert shields your rim from hard impacts and reduces the risk of snake-bite punctures, while damping shock and vibration for a noticeably smoother, more controlled ride. If you do puncture out on the trail, it doubles as a run-flat, letting you ride cautiously for up to 50km to get home rather than stopping for a trailside repair or the dreaded phone call for a lift.

Once fitted, it also lets you drop your tyre pressure for extra grip and comfort, and adds real lateral stability through corners so you can push harder without the tyre folding underneath you. At just 100g, it's light enough not to blunt the bike's feel, and it's e-bike compatible for riders putting in extra miles and higher loads. Each insert comes with a 40mm Vittoria Green Multiway tubeless valve included.
